Who We Are
Starting in 2005-2006 our Executive Director Dedria Noll started the program out of her house by gathering people and supplies to prepare personal support packs of hygiene supplies for teens in need. In 2008, she expanded the program by partnering with her local Hopkins Elks Lodge which then held additional teen drives for winter break to gather needed items such as individual care packages, coat drives, holiday gifts and the like. In 2012, Dedria and fellow Elks members applied for and received a $10,000 Impact grant from the Elks National Foundation (ENF) to formalize and expand the program to provide care packages and other goods throughout the year. Through grant money combined with the generous donations of time, money and goods from Elks members, other individuals within the community and community partners, we have been able to provide personal care packs every month to local schools, police departments and community partners for distribution to the teens in need. We have received $10,000 Impact Grants from ENF three years running and now we are embarking on our next area of expansion through our 501(c)(3) organization.
